It's common to wonder if others have similar fears, worries, and concerns like we do. All thoughts and emotions exist on a spectrum. Some people have too many, some people have too little.
For example, if someone has too little anxiety, he may not be properly motivated or energized and may overlook true problems. If he has too much anxiety, he is likely to experience difficulties and may have an anxiety disorder.
If someone is hyper-focused, she may find it difficult to be flexible and multitask. If someone has extreme difficulty focusing and paying attention, she may have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Most of us are somewhere in the middle for most things. Think of it like a bell curve (an upside down U). Almost everything is in the average or normal range, with the exception being the extremes on either side.
So, are you normal? Chances are, yes. And if you suspect that you're on an extreme in a certain area, seek assistance. Begin by speaking with your physician or exploring the Anxiety Disorder Association of America, which has great resources. All of these things are very much changeble.
